Thoughts on fitness trackers
I see it has been a few years since this topic has been posted and I have never owned one. Looking to get my first one for Christmas and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on them? Accuracy? Is is worth it? I am looking to lose weight and work out in addition to watching what I eat to lose weight. I am considering the Fit Bit Inspire and Fit Bit Inspire HR. Any thoughts? We also do not want to spend a lot of money on one either so don't need one with all the bells and whistles.

Worth it. I find myself being more active and pushing myself because I am wearing it.
What part of the accuracy are you questioning? If you are doing this for weight loss you shouldn't eat back your calories. Depending if you have a hr tracker it depends how accurate is. I just use the calories burnt as an indicator of how hard I worked, and if I need to move to the next level (time or higher resistance) in order to get the same 'burn'.
I have a Versa and love it. I was also thinking I did not want more than fitness data but the ability to see texts, notifications and who is calling is very helpful.

I have a Garmin Forerunner 230 and LOVE it. It definitely encourages me to move during the day.
