I am new to the eyeglass game, and only found out last year I needed glasses. Every 2 years, I get $250 from my insurance for an eye exam and glasses. However, my daughter broke them. I don't need them ALL the time, but I do wear them when i can. Because I still have a year until I can get another $250, I need to buy out of pocket from somewhere. Any recommendations?
Also, I can just call the place that did my exam to get my prescription right? (I went to cheaper peepers if that makes any difference)

A prescription is only good for 1 year.
You can see if the place you bought the glasses has the same pair and can switch the lenses.
Walmart, Costco, BJ, Visionworks all seem to be good and always having deals.

If your prescription is still valid, I recommend ordering online through Warby Parker. They are under $100.

If the prescription is within the last 12 months go to Costco or Walmart. They have the best prices.

I get mine on 39dollarglasses.com. Just put your RX info in. I don't even think they verify it with the doctor to be honest. They often have $15 off coupon codes, and they are located on Long Island, so they come fast!

If it hasn't yet been a year, use the same rx as you did to buy the previous pair. The place you bought it from only copied it, they would have given you the original back. They will not write you a new one even for the same rx.

I got my prescription emailed to me but I'm super confused about how to put it in lol. Who understands prescriptions?
Mine says this:
Far (OD) 29.75
Near (OD) 28.25
Far (OS) 29.75
Near (OS) 28.25
Far (OU) 59.50
Near (OU) 56.50
OD:
Sphere PL
Cylinder -1.25
Axis 165
OS:
Sphere PL
Cylinder -1.25

That's what I always use! They come quick! I've ordered like 3 pairs in the past few months because I like to change up the style (I wear contacts mostly)
