CHEAP clothes
let me begin with admitting that i don't know how to dress. i've never pretended to have any fashion sense. the way a broken clock is right twice a day, i sometimes accidentally put something cute together.
with that said, i have come to the bittersweet realization that i am dressing even worse, lately. i've lost weight and have gotten a lot smaller than i have ever been. yay. but i haven't wanted to change my clothes. boo. this means that i'm running around the world in clothes that really don't fit.
so... not only do i wear frumpy clothes, now my frumpy clothes are EXTRA frumpy. i look like an idiot... even i can see this.
so, my question is... besides thrift stores, where are good places i can pick up a few inexpensive items until i settle in to my final size. i'm 16.6 pounds from my ultimate/final weight loss goal.
tia.

CHEAP clothes
Old navy
Most stores have a lot of sales late-January mid Feb. But you may have missed the window of sales before the spring/summer clothes come out

Re: CHEAP clothes
Check Amazon. I got a cute top that looks so much more expensive for $16.99 recently. Just read the reviews - because sometimes they can be poor quality or run small or large. But most of them are prime free returns too so you can't go wrong.
Target has nice things too. I get a lot of work dresses there. Their new line- A New Day- is great
Kohls when you can get a 30 off coupon too

TJ Maxx (it’s called TK Maxx here, but it’s the same thing), H&M, Old Navy, ASOS.
ETA: I get some good quality clothes at Aldi and Lidl.

Aldi the supermarket?
I agree with all the above, except ASOS only because I never shopped there.
Marshall’s, Gap when they have 50% off, Cotton On. Angl is a store in Cali I used to shop at when I went to San Diego. Ann Taylor, NY & Co, Express will have some good deals. I also shop outlet malls, there is one near my house so they always have crazy deals.
Love me some Target as well.
Emmer & Oats have some good flash sales. I got 65% off a lot of sale stuff, talking shorts, pants and tops for 10 bucks. (Thanks Nell )

Re: CHEAP clothes
For the occasional open cardigan and t shirts underneath I’d go to marshalls or T.J. Maxx
For jeans I go to old navy.
If you’re looking for entire outfits I’d go to old navy and maybe pay attention to the mannequins for suggestions
Marshall’s you’re more on your own when it comes to putting things together. And of course it’s hit or miss.

Yes. They sell clothes here as well. I like Lidl a bit better, but that’s because it’s by my apartment. Heidi Klum has a line with Lidl as well.

Re: CHEAP clothes
SHEIN has some cute stuff, super cheap. Quality varies, but for short term stuff it works. Its also a good way to try out changing your style without investing a ton of money.

NY Co. Super cheap with all the sales and coupons....just never buy anything full price because they think they are Prada with their non sale prices! Old Navy is great too, and also Marshalls, TJMaxx if you have the patience to go through the racks.

I agree about Old Navy quality. I bought a bathing suit there once and the color ran after one time in the water. Yeah a bathing suit that isn't color fast? Ok I find everything there is awful quality.

I agree. I don’t like the cut of most of their things either. NY&co is another one I can’t stand. The clothes are so cheaply made and all look like Pam Beesly’s closet in 2006.
