Sayville cinema birthday party

Has anyone had a child’s birthday party at Sayville cinema? Looks like you get the whole theater room for the party. Do you pay extra for parents? Did you have pizza and cake if so was it in a separate room?

Never hosted one there but have been to parties there.
Both were morning parties so we they had bagels and juice set up when we arrived- right in the theater where the movie was being shown.
They ate, then watched the movie, then cake afterwards. All in the theater room.
I don't believe they have a separate room- it's a very old small theater

You get a private theater, they do parties before they open for the day - like 10am on weekends.

Everything is in the theater, pizza (or bagels), cake - whatever you choose, I don't think it's included. Every party we've been to has had bagels, and then cake at the end. there's no separate room.

I think it's unlimited popcorn and soda, and includes like 25 or 30 people, and then it's like $8 per person after that. So if a lot of parents stay and you're over the 25 person limit you have to pay for them. And if they bring siblings you'd have to pay for them too. basically anyone who stays in the theater is counted.

I follow this rule of thumb with kids parties:

If there is an activity being done during the party, I pay for whomever is participating in the activity (adults, kids, siblings, etc).

I always provide food for adults at all parties.

I haven’t hosted a party there, but have been to a few. The price includes up to a certain # of people- like 25-35, kids & adults are counted. The parties I’ve been to were always in the morning, before the theater opens. Most do bagels- kids come in the theater, the table is right there at the entrance, you get your bagel and juice, find your seat. Movie starts, they pass out popcorn a little bit into it. Movie ends, you go back to the table by the entrance and they sing happy birthday and do cake. There was one party that didn’t do bagels and instead they passed out pizza during the movie, after popcorn towards the end.
