Are the worth the money? Not sure I can justify that on flats, anything similar and as comfortable as I hear?

Re: Tieks

I have 2 pairs and yes they're comfortable and I do like them, but I like my Rothy's better. I think they're a lot more comfortable.

I can't/won't spend the money on them but everyone who has them swears they are amazing. I've heard Rothy's are really good, too, and a little cheaper. I think I like the look of Rothy's better, too.

Re: Tieks

I wear them almost every day (with the exception of my boots now that fall is here!) and I love them! I currently have 6 pairs, and want more! Chat Icon Chat Icon I feel like they are worth the money, they are super comfy and love that I can add a pop of color with my shoes!

I am not a fan. I tried some on and thought they looked pretty ugly and weren't as comfortable as they were cracked up to be.

I also tried a pair of Rothy's but hate the fabric they are made of, they looked weird on my feet. I think the pointed ones look cute on others.

Flats are actually terrible for your feet. No support

Lol right? I mean I don't think I'd even spend that on a hot pair of heels!

They are worth every damn penny.

I am a teacher and used to wear holes in the bottom of my ballet flats in less than a year. I went through two pairs of Kenneth Coles and a pair of Michael Kors (those lasted 9 months before there were HUGE holes at the bottom). I bought a pair of Tieks in black because everyone was raving about them. My original pair is still going strong after two years. I have four pairs now. They are expensive, but my shoes were falling apart and I had to replace them practically every year anyway. I'm saving money by buying quality shoes.

Thanks! I’m going to be on my feet a good portion of the day. If I’m working on the hospital floor I’m obviously wearing sneakers which I have a few good pairs I just ordered but I would like flats when I’m teaching that are comfortable yet professional! I may order them and see how they are but I’m going to do some shopping this weekend around the mall to see if I can find anything else! Thank you!

You may want to consider a shoe with a small/low wedge. Flats are not comfortable to be in all day. There is no support whatsoever.
My podiatrist told me flats are almost as bad as heels for your feet. (I told him he was preaching to the choir as I have never owned a pair of flats in my life....but....i digress! Chat Icon)

Re: Tieks

I can’t comment on Tieks, but Rothy’s are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. I don’t know why, but since having my third child last year, I can’t wear heels all day. I can wear flats, especially the Rothy’s, without any issues.

I have one pair- the shiny black croco looking ones and honestly I love them- to me they are worth it.
