5 weeks 2 days sono
Hi All,
I had an ultrasound today at 5 weeks 2 days. I went through IVF, which is why I am being monitored so early on. They saw the gestational sac but no yolk sac yet. Should I be concerned? Did anyone have the same situation and go on to have a healthy baby?

I wouldn’t be concerned yet what’s your HCG at? Usually 6 weeks you get a better look

They didn’t take my HCG today but they will take it again on Monday.

Still Early, after 6 weeks is usually when you see more

My HCG was 4235 at 5 weeks 2 days.

That’s a pretty high number! I wouldn’t worry! I had twins and my number was lower than that at 5 weeks! I’m sure all will be fine at 6 weeks  one of my babies was hard to see at 5 weeks and I have 2 20 month olds now!

no, thats totally normal. I didnt have my first sono after IVF till 5w6d and i only did because i was going away for a like a week. And there was only a yolk sac at that point.
