Plainview
Any Plainview moms on here? We just went into contract on a house and should be closing and moving in by October!
Can anyone recommend:
1. Pediatrician - Evening or Saturday hours a plus, same day sick visits a must
2. Pre-school/Daycare - I know there is Miss Sues, any feedback on that one? Does anyone use Shalom daycare center? Any others to look into? I need for a just turned 4 year old and a just turned 1 year old.
3. Sports for my 4 year old - What fall sport can we sign up for to meet some people? Is tball or soccer offered?? And when is sign up? Hoping we are not too late!!

Congrats! We considered buying in Plainview so I called daycares to see if they had room for my children. Shalom was my first choice, but they were full, so I would suggest calling ASAP and getting a tour and a spot.

We use Pediatric Health Associates at 100 Manetto Hill Road. Love Dr. Chalson and Dr. Samuel! My friend told me at one point they were not accepting new patients but call them to check.

We use Old Country Pediatrics in Plainview. They have evenings and Saturday hours, and we've always gotten same day sick visits.

Love next generation peds in Jericho. We have kids at the JCC and miss Debbie’s both are great depending on the schedule you need. You can sign up for soccer still

Welcome to the neighborhood!
Love Pediatric Health Associates. I think they are just not accepting new patients who have GHI insurance, but check. We love all the Drs but especially Dr Samuel. Open 7 days a week for sick appointments.
My son also went to Shalom. We had some issues there but we were happy up to that time.
POB Soccer Club is popular for soccer.

Our pediatrician is in Plainview. Plainview Pediatrics on Manetto Hill rd. Dr. Eric Schultheis. My whole family has used them for years.

My cousins are in Plainview and all their children went to and some still go to Ms Sues
I personally don’t know much about it but they love it :)
