Would you reuse your car seat or get a new one?
I still have one infant carseat from when my twins were born. The expiration date is August 2020.
If all goes well (haven't been to OB yet) due date will be Jan 2019 which would give me a good year out of the car seat before I would upgrade. Would you reuse the car seat or just get a new one?

Re-use it!
A year is a year.
Besides, by a year they are usually moving into a convertible car seat, right?
So you wouldn't even have to purchase an infant one.

Yes! Exactly! That's what I was thinking. I would be upgrading to a convertible by a year anyway.

I would absolutely reuse the car seat you have. You’d have over a year and your baby should be moving into a convertible seat by then.

I would definitely use it! We switched DD to a convertible around 8/9 months so you should be good!

Yes! I reused our infant car seat until it was time to switch. Just making the expiration date!

I would absolutely reuse it! Besides previously you were hit for double of everything! This will be a nice break! I moved my twins to convertible seats around 7 months because I was tired of lugging those things out of the house! You will have plenty of use with it with time to spare!
