Need shower wording help
So my sister in laws baby shower will be a wood land theme.
My mother in law wants to add on the invitation for everyone to wear a Flannel shirt.
Does anyone have an idea or saying that can go??

wear your favorite flannel for our little lumberjack / lumberjackie
It's that time of year where girls look cute and fashionable in their flannel shirts. Wear yours to our party.
Dress code: Nothing fancy, just your favorite flannel please.

Also, are there older people invited? I know my mom and her friends not only don't own flannel shirts, but would never consider wearing one to an event like a shower.

I wouldn't ask anyone flat out to wear anything matching to a baby shower, especially flannel.
I'd hint that it's the theme..."Flannel up to celebrate a little lumberjacks arrival" or "Baby it's cold outside..so flannel up" " Flannel up for some fun, Jackie's bun is almost done"

Thanks ladies. We of course don't expect everyone to come dressed in a flannel.
Only if they like of course.
We are doing a whole camping theme. Smores, having a Hot Cocoa Bar, and a big Teepee will be set up for all the kids.
Everyone at this party is young so we thought it would be fun to incorporate the flannels or any type of comfortable clothing. Boots, Vests..ect.
Its at my father in laws Firehouse so its not a fancy event. 
Also like to add this family Loves themes! We are a silly group!
We had a Halloween themed Bridal Shower recently for one of the cousins. Lots of fun! :)

I don't own flannel, and I don't think my friends do either, so I would not write something so specific. But you could write something like wear your camping best, flannel, jeans, outdoorsy etc. this way it gives your guests some options without feeling like they need to buy a flannel shirt.
