No. And I work in healthcare and have to wear the mask which I don't mind; it actually helps shield me from certain smells

We all do in this house. In my line of work, I've seen too much death and destruction in young kids from the flu to take the risk.
If you look at actual scientific data, it's hard to explain why anyone wouldn't get the flu shot (with the obvious exceptions of people with true life threatening allergy or guillan barre).

We all get it.
A couple of years ago though - I ended up with the flu anyway. My mom thinks because I had the shot I got a lesser case (I was still pretty miserable). Thankfully nobody else got it in the house since DH wasn't around and I had to do normal day to day stuff, and shovel snow, with the flu.

We all do. I don't really understand why you wouldn't just in case. My DD got the flu at 18mos and it was awful. She actually did get the shot that year but I guess it was a different strain. I still give it to her for some level of protection though.

I get it. My job does it in the office for free. I started getting it 5 years ago when my sister was pregnant. My niece was due in February and I was told I couldn't see her once she was born if I didn't get it!
My doctor had always recommended it to me because I'm also asthmatic.

Yes absolutely. I never got the shot until one year I got the flu and it knocked me out for weeks. I will never skip getting the shot again. Not worth the risk.
My son and husband also get it.

I work in an elementary school and I get the shot every year. DD also gets it. DH does not.

We all get it. I had the flu and it was horrible. Neither DS nor DH got sick, they were both vaccinated.
Also, last year alone, my non-elderly neighbor developed severe complications after getting the flu and my son's classmate got the flu and also had complications and was hospitalized twice. Both were healthy otherwise and not vaccinated.
ETA: Last year both DS1 and I got the flu even though we were vaccinated but it was nowhere as bad as it was the year I got the flu and hadn't received the vaccine. It was a tough flu season last year where I live.

me too, but I was never forced to wear a mask, as of yet lol
Last Jan I got the flu soo bad, ran 103 fever almost 24 hrs plus. When it broke it only last a short time. Knocked me out, not sure I'll get the shot.
I stopped a few years ago, I use to take when I was going through treatments and surgeries bc my immune system was shot
