What do you fill up your car with?
Just another innocuous topic...
When you fill your tank, what do you fill it with? Primary vehicle, most of the time...
I use 87 almost all the time. None of my vehicles do anything that would benefit from higher octane (no high-end engine, minimal towing, no mountain driving, the cars don't knock with 87). The owner's manuals all recommend 87.

I use 87 because my car doesn't call for anything higher.
I read once that unless your car calls for premium it's an utter waste to use anything higher than 87.
DH puts premium in his truck though because that is what it calls for.

premium. waiting for costco membership to go on groupon just for the gas! im a member at bjs and there are no bj gas stations near me and gas is 3.15-3.49 ! plus I get like 8 mpg haha

Yup.. this.
So the cheapest option works just fine. I also never mix. I stick what, what was put in the tank to start with.

I picked other because I use both 87 and electricity! Most electricity though, hardly ever get gas.

Fwiw, I read some horror stories about the discount club gas. I looked into it when I bought my premium only car and decided against it. Not going to wreck a 60k car to save 10 cents a gallon.

my mechanic always tells me to bump it up to at least 89, 87 does not burn complete and causes clogs, 89 is smoother and the car can utilize all if it vs most of the gas. Not sure I explained it well

Then I would definitely vote Electric. Especially for a fun, meaningless poll like this. If I owned any type of electric car, I would want some recognition of it on this poll.
