When your child has strep and they want you to come back in 2 weeks do they retest to see if the strep is gone?

I've never gone back for a retest after strep. Ear infections, yes, but not strep.

No I don't think so. I can't recall but as far as I remember not for strep, just for ear infections

I've never had to go back for a retest. He's always said to come back in 3 days if symptoms worsen, but it has never gotten that far.

Yes every time. And a few times it was not gone and she needed another antibiotic

We've only gone back for a re-check if they seem sick still. Otherwise, no.
