At the hospital... likely going to be induced! - update at bottom!
At my checkup today my BP was a little high so the Dr had me go to L&D for a non stress test and bloodwork. While I was there the baby was perfect and my BP monitoring was fine so they told me to go home. Then when I was on my way home I got a call that I had a slightly level of protein in my urine so they want me to come back to induce me.
So... here I am! Guess I am having this baby earlier than planned!

Good luck. I'm 33w5d and had appt
Today. My BP was elevated too and tomorrow I need to go for a high risk sono, bloodwork and urine tests as well.

Good Luck! That's exactly what happened with me. Normal appointment and my BP was high, sent me to L&D, still high, slight protein in urine and was having mild contractions. They ended up inducing me at 1 day shy of 37 weeks (I had a history of Pre-E with my first). Started my induction at like 3PM and had my baby girl in my arms by 11:50PM.

At the hospital... likely going to be induced!
I was 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I'm now 4cm (as of my last check which was a bit ago) and they broke my water. I also got an epidural so I'm feeling as ok as one can, finally. It was really rough until then, I started contracting at like 2am so got zero sleep and then when they went to take the cervadil out the Dr had gotten it really far up in there so it took them 3 tries to get it out and it was so so painful. After that I was just so exhausted from the pain.

What are you doing on LIFamilies!? Get some sleep if they did the EPI! you're gonna need your strength girlfriend. Your induction so far sounds almost identical to mine and my daughter was born at 7 p.m. GOOD LUCK!!!!

God I remember the sweet relief that epi brought. Whoever came up with it should get a Nobel prize!

Lincoln Russell was born via c section at around 3 am. 6 lb 9 oz. He has a full head of hair, like his mama did, and the pudgiest cheeks.
I was in labor for 28 hours before it became clear that I wasn't getting past 9.5 cm and that he wasn't going to drop enough. But he is worth every minute of those 28 hours. I'm so in love.
