She looks good. Hope she's happy and didn't just do it to stay on TV and in the public eye.

Never watched and completely not interested in their show, but holy airbrushing on her face. She looks trashy both before and after in my opinion.

She had surgery and then I believe she did diet and exercise

anyone know how she lost the weight? surgery?
She had gastric sleeve surgery and worked out with trainers and such and then after losing most of the weight she had 2 skin removal surgeries (breast lift, tummy tuck, arms and her chin)

She did all his for herself, but her kids are all very heavy and eat horribly! I watched a little of her new show. Her girls are headed down the same path if she doesn't get them eating better and exercising.

I used to think she was entertaining and even though they are trashy, they seemed like a happy loving family but I lost all respect for her when she went back to dating the guy that molested her daughter after he got out of jail. She's a POS. I watched a few episodes of the new show. I don't think she looks good. Some things just don't go back to normal when you lose the weight. Her poor kids are seriously obese. She needs to be a parent and get them help.

She did it for the wrong reasons. She saw that Sugar Bear was getting married and wanted a "revenge" body.
Look I'm all about doing what you want to do to look good. I hold no judgment. But if this was for a payoff (TV $$) or for revenge then she will slip back to her old self. She HAS to love herlself for this to work.
and Honey Boo Boo is a really fat, obese and overweight kid. Hopefully mom will do SOMETHING to help this child get healthier. On the TV show you see snippets of the kids "trying" a salad or veggies with dinner, then you see them spitting it out because its not covered in...something.
I also understand there has not been a lot of money in that home and its MUCH easier to buy a 99 cent chicken nuggets. But they HAVE had money for a while now and one would THINK that mom would do something to help the kids.

I feel like she is just another reality show attention wh0re who did all this so they could have another show aobut her. I saw all these commericials for her big reveal and how she looked so much different now. All for ratings and money.
I watch my 600 lb life on TLC and the Dr is a very famous surgeon known for his work with patients who are so heavy other doctors won't touch them. He does gastric bypass/sleeve on some of the biggest patients out there.
Anyway, he won't do the surgery on anyone until they show a commitment to the lifestyle that comes with it. He makes them go home and lose weight on their own first, modify their diets, start moving more. He even sends them to therapy to get to the root of their food addiction.
No surgery in the world is going to fix the emotional side of bad eating habits.
He pretty much tells them that weight loss surgery is not an "easy fix"- that they will have to put in the work and fight their food addiction for the rest of their lives- much like ANY addiction.
I don't know anything about this woman, and she could have done this all right and for the right reasons- but judging by the persona she has put out there for so long, I tend to doubt it.

but honestly.... I guess I was thinking of that show "the swan"... (any one remember that?) I was just expecting her face to be different...
When I saw the picture.. I thought it shouldn't be "from not to hot" from not to just ok...
And obviously sugar bear likes em large...

I watch the show (I know, it's crazy) and I actually think it's not that bad. Yes they might seem trashy but they also seem to have a lot of love among them (the mom and the girls).
I agree with June losing all that weight for the wrong reasons but maybe that's the right fire in her ass that she needed to finally make the right changes she badly needed, now that she has lost it all is when the real battle and the real commitment should start for her, like another poster pointed out, it's a lifelong commitment that will benefit her in the long run and she can only be successful on this if her commitment is based on self love. I hope it works out for her.
Oh in the show it seems that she is trying to change her daughters' eating habits as well.
