Disney Dining- Where Can We See Mickey??
Sorry for another Disney question! I want to do 1 or 2 character meals, and I'd really like Mickey to be there. Chef Mickey does not have good times for when I'm going (late April...I know I'm booking late). Somebody suggested Ohana breakfast in the Polynesian, but it looks like a Lilo & Stitch breakfast, Mickey is not guaranteed. I'd rather not do that because my kids couldn't care less about Lilo and Stitch.
Can you recommend any other places to eat where we'll see Mickey? Thanks!

We are hoping to go late September. The park my son is most interested in is Animal Kingdom. We are booking a pre park opening breakfast at Tusker House. The food got better reviews than the other buffets and you get Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy. They are in safari gear, not traditional clothes.

Garden Grill at Epcot has Mickey, Pluto, Chip, & Dale
ETA: We are not picky eaters at all. We thought the food at Tusker House (dinner) was awful.

The Character Spot at Epcot is another place you can meet him. You can FP it too! 
Mickey's Backyard BBQ at the Ft. Wilderness Resort - there are still dining openings in May ( I just looked for myself last night) so you might get lucky for April too!

We love Tusker House at animal kingdom- its mickey, donald, daisy, goofy...
also Garden Grill at Epcot is a good one. mickey, pluto, chip and dale. That one is nice because its "family style" so they basically bring a bunch of food to you at your table- so theres no walking back and forth to the buffet lol and its not a huge restaurant, so it feels a little more "calm" then some of the other ones...
i think theres a character breakfast at Cape May Cafe at the beach club or boardwalk resort.... pretty sure mickey is at that one, too- in his beach outfit

Also, I know you're specifically looking for a meal, but make sure you see Mickey in Town Square. He talks!

Another vote for tusker house here. Although if you want to see him in more traditional clothes go for the town square or Epcot meets.

Thanks all! Some great suggestions, never even heard of some of these places. I haven't been to Disney in 20 years, and I'm not much of a planner, so it's great to have these restaurants to look into. I'm sure I'll have lots more questions in the weeks to come. Thanks!

My fave place to see Mickey is Garden Grill at EPCOT. Kids love the rotating restaurant and the liberty tree tavern type food.
