Finding a daycare Bellmore/Merrick/Wantagh area
My wife and I are expecting our first child in May. We are not from Long Island and just moved here 2 years ago. I'm looking for advice on daycares in the area. We have toured a few but without any freiends or family in the area we are looking for suggestions of great daycares.

Children's Nest has a location in Wantagh and Merrick. We go to the Wantagh location which is smaller. They are absolutely amazing, best decision we ever made. If you are looking for your baby to start in September definitely start getting on lists now. Infant spots fill up really quickly. Good Luck!!

With DD1 we used the Children's Nest in Merrick and they were wonderful.
With DD2, I have daycare in my building so for convenience we went with that - it's Harbor Day Care in the RXR building.
A new one, Inch by Inch, opened on Newbridge in Bellmore, but I hear that they have a massive wait list......

Both of my children are in Children's Nest in Merrick and we have no complaints.

TLC on Merrick Ave and on Meadowbrook Rd (two locations) is very popular and highly regarded.
