Curious if anyone has gone- DH and I took off tomorrow and are taking the kids to the sitter so we have the day to ourselves- was wondering if it was worth going there?

My inlaws go there all the time...However, I do NOT like all machines. I like to sit at a table with a real person as a dealer.

OK- never mind.
The one my coworkers went to a few years back was the one in Queens- they weren't impressed and found it sketchy

I'd pick Empire over Resorts, but only if I am desperate to gamble at a machine. I prefer table games.
I don't like either of them, find them very smoky and very skeevy.

Not worth it, as others said its sort of scary.
If you are a machine person, whenever I get the itch I find the games I like online and play with fake tokens. Sure, I can't win but Im not losing money either.
A lot of the typical poker machines you find are playable here

We go and sit at the restaurant and watch the horse racing. The downstairs where the machines are is a little sketchy.
