Silly question, but I haven't been to one in a long time...
Are the trees already wrapped up, or can you see how wide they are?

And where do you go for a nice tree at a reasonable price? In Nassau county.

I was hoping to go out East this weekend to cut ours down, but I don't think it's happening.

ETA- thanks for answering. Will they wrap it again after I cut it open?

Most of the trees at homedepot are tied up unless someone opened them. We usually cut them open and tryand get an idea of what it will look like.

Same, bring a knife or scissor & you can cut it open & shake it to see what it looks like. Bring work gloves if you have too. i used to go to the Home Depot in Freeport & always got a beautiful tree!

Stew Leonard's trees are open and then they wrap them for you. We were really happy with them this year.

We got them at Costco in the past. They were wrapped up but amazingly they looked great once we opened them. They are very reasonably priced.

Any store place will definitely re-wrap it (HD/Lowes/Stews).

I assume side of the road places would also but I've never been to one.

I think Costco is a great cost saving. High quality trees for less. But you have to go early to get it.
