Ps. It just came out that Trump had a disgraced GOP Politician in his gallery (people behind him In a rally) that likes kiddie porn.
Let's not throw stones shall we.
There is/was apparently a rape case against him. Not sure if this is an active case. With a witness. They said they never came forward because their life were threatened. It was quickly hush hush. I do not know the validity of it but would like to hear more of this story. It would have happened many years ago. Trump and ""forgot his name" were doing lost of parties with very young women. Even underage. That friend was later on charged for something else. Actually to be fair, it was said Clinton may be been hanging in same circles as said friends.
Yes, I posted that story a few weeks ago.

Are you ladies serious? If he was at the Trump rally would you be saying the same thing? The comparisons both of you made are apples and oranges. The father of a confirmed terrorist who murdered dozens of people was sitting front and center at her rally and you see no problem with that?
In this case, I don't think it matters which side you are on in terms of your political views. The father has known ties to the Taliban. I do not believe for a minute he is not on some watch list. To me, this was a security issue and a breach of security. Everyone should be concerned about that, no matter who you are voting for.
I'm all over the internet right now trying to find anything that confirms he was an invited guest and I'm finding nothing, further, I did find something saying Clinton disavows his support.
I've been trying to look too and I'm seeing a lot of mixed info about a lot of things like the taliban claims. He does sound kinda wacky though- says he's an afghan president or something?

I thought I read he put his name in to be afghan president.. not someone I would want to rub elbows with, regardless.

I don't see anyone calling out Trump's support from David Duke? THAT troubles me.

this stuff that conservatives spout about the "liberal media" is ridiculous because guess what?? LIBERALS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN RIGHT. on pretty much everything in our country's history. Freeing the slaves Allowing women to vote Desegregation Interracial marriage The Civil Rights Act The Voting Rights Act Women’s rights Same-sex marriage
So really Trump supporters, just take a seat and get out of the way of progress. your so called values are out of date and nothing more than a cover for your bigotry and hatred.

Re: Trump. And you STILL want to vote for him????
I don't think this is particularly true. Lincoln was a Republican. A higher percentage of Republicans than democrats in the senate/house supported the women's right to vote, the civil rights act and the voting rights act. Just because a Democratic President signed these acts into law does not mean that is how their party was voting.
I agree with you on same sex marriage as I do not align myself with Republican views on that and someone else mentioned student loan reform which yes the Republican Party is technically against but if you read why it is not because the do not want students to be able to go to school and get reasonable loans, they want the states and private sector to control the loans not the federal government but have federal government backing.
Maternity/family leave which someone else mentioned, again they are not against it in theory but it would be disastrous economically to pay for time off while still keeping the tax level the same for businesses/corporations. Making companies pay for leave can bankrupt a lot of small businesses. We have one of the highest tax bracket in the world for corporations, hense why there is so much outsourcing. It is proven that countries that lowered the corporate tax gained tremendous economic growth.
I find it ironic that people on this board claim everyone supporting Trump/Republicans are racist and white supremacists when in fact that is exactly what people are so angry with Trump about. Making generalizations, calling people names and denying them their own right to an opinion different from their own.

I don't think EVERYONE is. But I have seen enough racist, xenophobic hate spewed from the lips of enough Trump supporters - some even on this board - to know that they aren't the only ones who think that.

The Republican Party of Lincoln's era is extremely different than the Republican Party of today. Just like the Democratic Party of the past is not the same Democratic Party of today.

Don't forget, the parties actually switched platforms. Southern Democrats and Northern Republicans, so Lincoln was not a Republican in the sense of modern-day politics. The shift occurred somewhere between 1860 and 1936 where they gradually ended up blurring the lines.

Well said. I don't want to hear that the parties shifted. Civil Rights leaders were mainly republican as well. The media never discusses this and if they do, it's because the parties shifted. Whatever.
I am not a racist. I am not even technically "white". How do you like them apples. It's just I am fed up with a lot of how things are going. You guys may like it. But I don't. IMHO, Obama has flushed this place down the toilet not keeping Americans in mind.

I just wish people who plan to vote for Trump just came out and say the are right wing haters. Modern white supremacists. At least own it and say it. We are racist, we just want white bible people in this country, carrying guns to go to the saloon ...I mean store. You know..like 200 years ago. Women obey men.
But then don't blame others for seeing right through the "he says it like it is".

Trump. And you STILL want to vote for him????
If Hillary nor any OTHER person said and did what Trump has, you'd all have their ass. You would be calling them out on what a POS they are. But, since it's him it's ok.
I'm going to say I really have zero respect for anyone who is voting for him. How you can honestly look yourself, child or others in the eye and in good conscience vote for him is completely beyond me.

No that's actually really SAD.
But the reality when people support a loose canon, making racism comments, wanting to ban a religion which trump supporters have been really strong about supporting the constitution and second amendment but somehow conveniently forget about the FIRST amendment and freedom of religion, carrying guns everywhere because Obama is going to take their gun, having a VP against gays, a candidate disrespectful and demeaning to women, a party against abortion. And so on. That does not leave many people he has spared. Except the exteme right white people. He has not even rejected the support of former KKK leader. Come on!!!! It is not about political parties here. It's about THAT guy. He is willing to say ANYTHING to get votes. He is a master manipulator. He is freaking Trump. The guy that claims he is a guy like all of us. While he lives on 5th ave and West palm beach. He comes from money. His daddy was a successful real estate investor in Queens. He rode his daddy's coat tail and used his daddy's connections for his deal in NYC. He was lucky. He is just an opportunist. He is not about change. How is he about change? Oh yeah, Cies tax break from 35% to 15%? That really is going to help the regular working class. Lol. The guy has nothing in common with us. Nothing! He is calling to the lowest of uglyness in people. And it's working.
So yes it's bad. Not what I say but that people do not listen to his actual words and what he is actually saying. He is making up shit as he goes.
The World is very unsafe right now. Please inform yourself. Isolating the US from the World is the dumbest idea. The man has no clue. For crying out loud he does not even know about Ukraine and Putin and right now this is extremely important. Isolation means out of the loop on knowledge. Basic knowledge he does not even have. The World is watching what is going on in the US. They are extremely concerned. What started as a joke is not anymore.
Again that has nothing to do with political parties. There is nothing wrong with change. He is just the WRONG change.

You are right about the history of Democrats v. Republicans. However, the poster said "liberal," not Democrats.
Re: student loans - I don't believe the Republican resistance is that simple. If it was, it would be a technicality that could be overcome either formally in committee or informally with bipartisan talks.
Re: paid maternity - We probably have a fundamental disagreement here because I think it's something we as a nation - as the only first world nation without one - need to find the money for, for moral reasons. However, I also believe it could be an economic plus, or at least even out. Anyone who is vulnerable to the cut in salary unpaid leave entails is also, by definition, going to be someone who would spend that money, not save it, putting it back into the economy. People don't pass up unpaid maternity leave so they can bank their salary; they pass it up because they need the money. I apply that same logic to things like raising the minimum wage - the large corporations who would have the biggest extra expense would also be most likely to benefit from it (i.e. McDonald's.)
It's not the case that outsourcing occurs because of high corporate taxes. It's mostly because of cheap labor.
Additionally, there is no connection between lowering corporate taxes and economic growth. charts and graphs

Her comments may be harsh, but essentially, when Donald Trump says he wants to make American great again, he is saying he wants to make it WHITE again. Take us back to a time when white men were firmly in charge, where people could freely throw racial and sexual slurs around without any repercussions, where minorities "knew their place" and kept trouble to a manageable minimum, where feminism was just a pesky ideology because all men knew women weren't intellectually capable of much more than being housewives and babe machines or sexual playthings, a good old boys club where "political correctness" didn't exist, no one had to change their language to be inclusive, when we were the top dog of the world, no one messes with America, we're the best! Immigrants weren't stealing jobs, blacks weren't rising up against racism, terrorism against American didn't exist because no one would fluck with us. People weren't asking for handouts from the government because we knew how to work hard and too bad if you weren't as successful, you must not have done something right along the way, don't expect anyone to rescue you.
So let's take all the progress we've made as a country for the last 100 years and throw it out the window.
Let's go back to a time where we could be complete @ssholes and no one said boo about it.

This is the most ignorant, ridiculous post I have ever read on this site, and I've seen some pretty nasty sh*t go down on these boards......
Isn't it what people who want to vote for him agree on?
I kind of LOVE this and I might have to cut and paste your comments on my FB page the next time one of the many Trump supporters I know carries on about "Making America Great Again" because what you said is dead on!!!

If anyone OTHER than Hillary did the things she did and said the lies she has told, everyone would have their ass.
I cannot respect ANYONE who would vote for Hillary. Definitely goes both ways.

What did she do? And please don't say her emails. We would have to procecute all politicians of every party for using personal emails at her time and before her time.
She also killed nobody in Benghazi.
Trump supporters and Republicans have made Hillary the most powerful Secretary of State ever in the history of the US. They are acting like she was the commander in chief. For real???? People need to think before they speak. She was ONLY a Secretary of State. People need to read on the function of a Secretary of State. Staffing embassies, and calling the shots is not one of them. So blame Bush, blame Obama, blame the congress but don't blame her. This is just ridiculous how ignorant people are on how the process works.
