Dipping my toes in this pool again
If you know me IRL, please don't say anything on FB, etc.
I'm almost 6w with #2. Found out I was PG about 4 minutes before going into surgery 2 weeks ago - all the DR's were in my room going over the surgery and whatnot when the nurse started acting weird and showed the DR something in a binder. The DR told her to call the lab and about a minute later she walked in and said, surprise! You're pregnant! Talk about a huge shock - DH and I were excited and mortified all at the same time with a bunch of strangers watching us  My surgery went as planned and we just had to change up the anesthesia and pain meds (local versus general and basically only tylenol).
So far my betas are rising perfectly and I have my first appointment 8/10. I was a SB midwives patient, but I switched to Dr. Lochner since she is closer to home. I will be having a repeat C since my chances for VBAC are nil - and frankly too dangerous - given my previous labor. I am not looking forward to having GD again (I have insulin issues when not pregnant and had GD with my first pregnancy so I'm sure I will have it again).
Hoping all goes well and I have an uneventful pregnancy
