Cab from west nassau to lga question
I used to live in queens and would call a cab in the morning and go to the airport.
Does it work the same way on long island or do cab companies require and appt in advance?
Thinking i will use uber but if i have issues want to be able to call ollies or another company if i need to.
Any advice?

I honestly don't know, but I feel like the safe thing to do is to call the cab company you are planning to take and ask.

You can but it's better to give them plenty of time to get you. I find it best to call at least 30 min to an hour in advance of when you want to be picked up. I usually call the night before and then give a reminder call an hour before my scheduled pick up.

Do you absolutely need to leave from LGA? With JFK, AirTrain is so easy!

we recently used all island/ollies for jfk and we called them the night before our flight since we had an early pick up time. they were giving rides to lga to.
maybe you could call in advance to see how much advanced warning they would want.
