I got a raise today and I'm happy with it and I really do love my job but I would also like to know if we are getting out early today and they aren't saying anything!
I can't decide where to go on vacation.

Same here!
We NEVER get out early before a holiday.
Only good thing, traffic is lighter because everyone else is home already.
Not happening. We used to. Then someone who has an earlier shift complained and ruined it for everyone. What pisses me off is that I work for a very large organization in various locations and different depts have different policies.

I am hungry. This is first world because I have tons of food in the house but want none of it...so I'm ordering out

I tried eating my panera salad with chopsticks because my fork once again has gone missing... I got about half way through and gave up.. so I ate a bunch of cheeze its instead.

aww, but the flip side to this might be,, what if the squirrel was a mom nursing her young and the much needed fruit gave her energy and nutrients to do so :)

I snacked on cookies and cheesecake brownies that was catered for a meeting I was in, to only find out they surprised us with an ice cream truck later that afternoon- I ate a huge cookie ice cream sandwich and drank a glass of wine. My job is going to make me fat!
