Mommy brag
Sorry, but I so seldom get to brag about my kids lately...
But DD#1 won 1st place for 3rd grade yesterday for her essay "What The Flag Means To Me". She got to read her essay at a Flag Day assembly and got a flag to post outside the house. She has had a really tough year, and I'm just so proud of her. When the school called on Thursday to tell me, I almost cried for her.
