PCOS after Pregnancy?
So I have had PCOS and ever since I had my son my periods have been coming pretty regularly which is not normal for me. My cycle is now around 35 days. We are looking to possibly try for our 2nd next spring but was wondering if anyone else has had their cycles normalize post pregnancy? If so were you able to conceive naturally?

Re: PCOS after Pregnancy?
Yes, my periods were very normal post-partum, for several years. But never conceived on our own. 4 years later my cycles are becoming longer and irregular. For a while I could tell I ovulated and now I don't think I am anymore...again...

PCOS after Pregnancy?
I am assuming we will need IVF again since I think its an issue with fertilization but thought maybe we had a better chance given the fact that I am ovulating. Cant hurt to try for a couple of months before going back to the RE in March.

Nope, can't hurt at all. I know plenty of women who have gone on to conceive naturally after having their first or second with "help". I know egg quality was an issue for me, and even when we back to the RE nothing happened. I hope you have better luck and can do it on your own!

Re: PCOS after Pregnancy?
My periods have been much more regular since having my DD. I was told my chances of conceiving naturally would be highest soon after AF returned. We started trying for #2 the month AF returned and 1 year later NADDA.
ETA: I think your plan is a good one! Good Luck.

No experience but I think your plan is good. Just try for a little while and see what happens. I would love to be one of those people who conceive naturally after IF.
