My Verizon contract is up and I am thinking about switching to T-Mobile. How is the quality of their signal? Any problems - dropped calls, no service, etc? Verizon has been great but it is becoming too expensive for what we need. I heard T-Mobile works fine in large cities but it is not too great in the suburbs. Wondering how is it on LI.

I have had T-Mobile for the past 15 years and I live on LI and commute to the city and other states across the country and have not had an issue.

I had t-mobile years ago and never had a problem. I only switched to be on DH's plan and save money.

I haven't had a problem yet with them. In fact, we have service places that we didn't have it with Verizon.

I've had them for 15ish years. My service is just as good as any other provider in the area. Nobody gets reception at my house (from any provider), but T-mobile has wi-fi calling, so anywhere that there is a wi-fi signal, I can make calls.

I have never had a problem and their data plans are sooo much cheaper! I use a huge amount of data on my phone and I pay 1 price. If I used that much data with Verizon my phone bill would be double or triple what it is.

Ive been a customer for over 10 years and very happy with them and even their customer service.

I was a T-Mobile customer for a long time (back when they were Voicestream). As with any provider, there are locations where the service can be spotty, but I rarely had that problem.

I switched to Virgin Mobile a couple of years ago because it was cheaper.

I was paying over $100/month for just unlimited calling and texting (no data) for two lines with T-Mobile. It wasn't until after we switched to Virgin Mobile that T-Mobile starting having these cheaper data plans. I'm still paying less than $100 a month for data, calling and text for two lines with Virgin. The downside is I have to pay the full price for phones, since I don't have a contract.

You get more with t-mobile. I have unlimited everything and its soo much cheaper than what I could get from Verizon. The service is pretty good to. However...if your in the LIRR or Subway tunnels you wont have service or if you do its spotty. But your not in the tunnels to long to let this be a concern. They also have great customer service.
