Date night restaurant in Floral Park/NHP/Garden City?
I am 34 weeks 5 days PG with twins so tonight will be the last night DH & I have to focus on each other for a very long time. My inlaws are taking my 2 older kids for a sleepover tonight.  We live in Floral Park but have only been here since Feb. 10th. So any ideas would be great! TIA!

Date night restaurant in Floral Park/NHP/Garden City?
Welcome to the neighborhood! DH & I actually ate our "last meal" at Luigi's on Union Turnpike (the night before I was induced lol). The food is absolutely delicious! I do suggest making reservations if you plan on going on a Friday or Saturday. They are usually really busy. We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed!

King Umberto's in Elmont
It is the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The food is exquisite, and the service is unbeatable.
It's about 0.5 miles away from the Floral Park border.
If you decide to go there, I would call and make a reservation now. It's a very popular place.

Thank you! We are going to try King Umberto's tonight (just got a 7:00 reservation...hope I can make it past my 8:00 bedtime lol).

Honestly if you want a date night, i would choose Seventh St Cafe in Garden City (Italian). Or something else in GC as other posters suggested.

Agreed. The dining room at KUs is just as formal as any of the other places.
Part of it is a pizzeria, but the other side is a formal dining room.
OP, I would highly recommend the fried cappellini as an appetizer.

Congrats and welcome to Floral Park...we live here also and love it! Hope you enjoyed King Umbertos...it's great, but in the future, try Park Place right on Covert! Great atmosphere and great food and wine! Lol also, Cara Mia in Queens Village (corner of hillside and Braddock..10 min away)...AMAZING!
