Yes and it's getting me both excited and upset. I have our annual jimmy Buffett concert next week and I can't believe it's upon us already!

we'll be there!

I'm so happy this is the last winter we have to deal with up here! Moving to Texas next year and will be burning our snow shovels! Lol

Re: shift in the air, fallen leaves

I thought this was a very odd summer so far it's like we didn't even have a summer. My girls didn't swim much since it was never hot enough! I usually look forward to Fall only AFTER there have been too many hot days!

We are going camping in PA for 4 nights last week in August and now I'm nervous about the nighttime temps.

I'm not a fan. I hate the cold & the darkness of fall. Weather has a big effect on my mood. I'm much happier when it's warmer & stays light out longer.

I am so excited for the fall, it's my favorite. But I'm a bit worried that we will have a horrible winter.

I camped in late July early August where the evenings were below 50! Bring thermals, sweats, extra layers. I brought my down enter coat and wore it over all my layers!!! That did it!Chat Icon

It was such a mild but beautiful summer! Made up for that crazy winter! But I'm not liking August being THIS cool!

Re: shift in the air, fallen leaves

I LOVE crisp, cool mornings where everything just smells fresh and clean.

I've been up since around 6:30 cleaning and doing laundry with the windows wide open.

Love it!

Makes me feel more revived, actually.

When it's hot,I just feel like a slug. Chat Icon

Ditto. I am already starting to feel the dread about the impending depression that I know will come to me soon. It's actually really bad and I probably do need meds for seasonal affective disorder. I can't find one thing to look forward to in any month other than May, June, July or August. I don't even look forward to the holidays because of the weather in the months they fall in.
I need to move soon.
