FF Car Seat Installtion with non-removable headrests?
Anyone have this problem? We just got a new car, 2015 Buick Enclave and the head rests are not removable, so installing the seats has been a bit of pain. We have Diono Radian RXT seats.
We can recline the seats a bit so they sit flush against back of seat, but the issue is the tether-- what's the most secure way to install that portion of the seat, going over the headrest seems like it is not that secure, and also will damage the headrest.
Any input would be appreciated!

Do they slide up? It's hard to tell from the photos on-line. If they slide, you can go under the headrest, but over the seat.

they do not slide up- they are not removable or adjustable. I can prob do the tether around it, then shimmy it under a little bit, but it won't be completely centered.

I just did a youtube search for your car and carseat installation. It seems that the correct way to install the tether is over the headrest and go down the middle. They used a Recaro which was a large FF seat and the the top of the seat went up to the middle of the headrest.

Read the owners manual for the car! All vehicles will say something different. Some say squeeze it under, some say go over the top and pthers say to route on the outer side of the headrest.
If you cant find the info in your manual let me know and I will be happy to research it for you.
Also make sure that the vehicle seat can be reclined with a car seat on it. (Again, It should he in the owners manual for the car. ) Some manufacturers don't allow it. Unfortunately if that's the case you may have an issue with your seat being incompatible with your car.
