Moms with 3+ kids that dont drive a mini van

I drive a pathfinder (new body style) with a very easy to get to 3rd row. My husband is getting ready to install the infant carseat base and I'm unsure on how to set the kids up...

I really wanted to do 3 straight across (Booster for my 9yr old old, infant seat in the middle, nautilus on the other side- for my 5yr old).... But the more I think about it, the more I think leaning over the booster to get to the middle will be a major PITA.... However, I really don't wanna put my son in the 3rd row either... (just feel like at 9yrs old- he'd be really helpful next to the baby- to pop a paci in or shake the seat etc...)

How are your seats set up in your cars/truck? TIA

We have the baby behind the passenger seat, my oldest in a booster in the middle and my middle behind the driver's seat. We tried it the way you described but it was a huge PITA lifting the seat in and out.

It has worked well for us that way. We are moving oldest to 3rd row this week because we can't access the 3rd row with them all in the 2nd and we need the seats for visitors. Baby will move to middle (I carry her in/out now and leave the infant seat in the car. She'll be moving to a convertible soon - she's 15 months but petite). My middle child (4yo) will take the responsibility of checking on her for me.

i have a mazda cx9 with third row. I have a 5 yr and 3 yo and coming in sept.
I was going to do all 3 of them in the middle, 3yo behind driver, then 5 yr in the middle and then behind pasgr. but now i dont know. I dont think i trust my 3 yo near the baby! i would put my 5 yo in the back by himslef and I would sit in the 2nd row somehow but i have to figure out....

I would put big kid in 3rd row & baby & 5 yr old together in 2nd row. Your 5 yr old can help out with baby.

I have 4 dc and drive a suburban. 2 carseats in the second row captains chairs. 7yo and 8yo sit in the third row.

any ladies with updates? i have a graco argos (3yo) and a snug ride35 (for due in Sept)and probablby goin to have to end up buying a radian for my 5 yr so that they can all sit in the 2nd row with a choice of having my 5yo in the back in my SUV. anything chaper than a radian?
