Good stopping point from NY to Savannah
We are taking our first road trip with the kids this summer. Long Island to Savannah, GA. We were going to do it in one day but decided to stay over night. Thinking VA or NC depending on how well or how bad we did with traffic.
Do you think that is a good stopping point?

I would stop beginning of NC. Then you may have another 5 hours or so.
