Babies That are Breeched

I am 31 weeks, and THIS week both babies are head down, more often than not at least one of them is breech. I had pelvic pain weeks 26-29 because one baby had his foot on my pelvis and kept kicking. He has moved....Thank God.

Re: Babies That are Breeched

My daugther was breech the whole time and never turned. They can turn at any time, but usually if the baby hasnt turned by 36 weeks they will start talking to you about options.

Babies That are Breeched

I'm 35 weeks with my 2nd pregnancy and baby is still breech. My dr is giving me till next week, at 36 weeks, for the baby to turn.

If he/she doesn't turn by then, I will be going in for an ECV which my dr does between 36-37 weeks.

I never had back pain and my DS was breech my entire 3rd trimester. I had a csection at 39 1/2 weeks bc he never turned.

My son was head down at 31 weeks, at 36 weeks was footling breech. I never had back pain and I have a bad lower back injury. I guess it depends on the type of breech. My DS had head and but in my ribs so I think that reliv. the pressure off of my back.

DS was always breech and never flipped. When he was born via c-section, the cord was wrapped 3 times around his neck, which is why he never when head down.

That being said, 31 weeks is still early. You have time for the baby to flip!

ETA: I had back pain off and on, but don't think it was from him being breech, per se.
