We've had the Suburban (good riddance!!!!!!), the BMW x5, and now the Acura MDX. I would choose the MDX over the X5 every time! Way more comfy and fun to drive.
We're looking into buying the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

It depends on what was most important to me at the time.
I loved the Q5 and it drives like a dream. I also like their all wheel drive. You can get through anything. I just don't like the way they look.
I love the BMW X5 and by far and wide their navigation systen is the best I have ever come across.
I currently drive the Volvo XC 60. It isn't as comfortable as the Q5 or X5 but it is really safe. I got t-boned in my volvo coup and while my car was totaled I was unharmed. I had just found out I was pregnant when the accident happened and my DH (who is the boss of all things mobile) felt we should stick with the Volvo with the baby coming.

Fantasy would be the Mercedes G Wagon
Real life I think I would like the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I think it's a really nice looking truck. Not too big, not too small.

I have to agree. I always tell DH this is my dream truck.

I have a white Jeep Compass and I love it! I would have to say that coming from a smaller car, the gas is not so great but I love the feel of the car.

Just got the new 2014 Ford Explorer last week and I love it!!!!
I have a 3rd row seat(haven't used it yet) But its an awesome car…great ride….Ive only had Fords…..i love them!!

I have the Buick Enclave now. While I love love love my car, and it's categorized in the luxury SUV division, I don't even think of it as an SUV/truck!
I'm also in the group of people who would love a Cadillac ESV. It's out of my range for sure though. DH sold one last year to the tune of $85K!!
I like the Range Rover too, but at school pick-ups, they are a dime a dozen!  I'd rather stand out than blend in!

this is my dream truck- I would buy it - but it gets 11 miles to the gallon (see below why that won't work - I drive 30K miles a year)
I am on my 2nd Mercedes ML350
when I am done with this one- it's a 2009 with 144K miles- and I am the original owner and thankfully it's paid off
I would get the GL or the BMW X5 next

Like my post states in the "things you hate that everybody likes," Range Rovers seem to be multiplying like Gremlins. They're everywhere.
When my DH was SUV shopping last year, we checked out the RRs, but at the time we were told there was a year long wait (for the Autobiography), plus the RR doesn't offer a 3rd row. We love the Land Cruiser, but we're also grateful we went with the LC because everybody and their momma has a RR around here. It's crazy. I've never seen anything like it before.

That is bananas to me considering the RR is almost $90K
