Got into trouble with my doc....
Since my last appt 4 w ago I gained 8 lbs. I'm 21w now. I guess no more cravings at the bakery !!

same thing happened to me early on - but then i stopped gaining weight. im 37 weeks now and at my last appt i lost 2lbs
i wouldnt worry about it too much unless you continually gain 8lbs at each appt

Got into trouble with my doc....
I'm overweight (by a lot) to start with, my doc never said anything to me at our first visit... I'm guessing if I gain a lot by our apt in 3 weeks she'll say something.

Got into trouble with my doc....
I think as long as you are aware of what you are eating and try to avoid bad food, you should be okay. I was pretty consistently gaining at minimum a pound a week and then I hit 27-28 weeks and my weight gain has been almost nonexistent. At 39+3 weeks, I have only gained 23 pounds

Got into trouble with my doc....
I gained 0 lbs from 4-16 weeks even though I had a big bump by then. I would not be surprised if I'm up 8 lbs a month later - bc I'm beyond huge at 19. I've been asked if I'm due really soon lol..
It is what it is! Lol. Don't stress it.

I'm 35 weeks with twins on Sunday and I have gained 60 lbs!!! I hate the scale part of my now weekly appointment

Me too!!! But I gained 55lbs with DS1 and it was mostly water weight that cane off on its own so Im letting my body do its thing lol

Got into trouble with my doc....
With my first pregnancy I got in trouble for not gaining enough weight. At 28 weeks I had only gained 10 pounds.
I wish I had gotten in trouble for gaining too much.

I gained 70 with my 1st, 50 with my 2nd and now with my 3rd 24. No one ever said anything to me.
