Had my April baby!
I can not believe our Avery Rose is here! I was due 4/9 but she had other plans! I'll post a birth story one of these day. But quickly, my water broke on Friday shortly after 4am and our little girl was here less than 12 hours later at 3:48pm weighing 6lbs 3oz and 18 1/2". We were lucky and she was doing well so she went to the regular nursary.
Her first appt was today and she is down to 5lbs 10oz :( but the doctor is ok with that.
We are so in love

Congratulations! Do not worry about the weight loss your daughter will gain it back quickly. My daughter lost 8 ounces between birth and day of discharge from the hospital. Today is one week since discharge and she gained back 7 of the eight ounces.

Congrats! Beautiful name.
Don't worry about the weight, they all drop. Dd was born at 7 lbs 5 oz and left the hospital at 6lbs 15oz.
