Horseback riding lessons
Anyone know what age they start at or any recommendations for places to go?

There was a groupon for a place in greenlawn and it stated lessons began at age 6. Not sure if that is the norm.

new york equestrian center in Hempstead Lake Park, I think lessons there might start earlier than 6 but not 100% sure

My DD rode at Thomas School in Melville they do group and they have assistants that stand next to each rider

When I taught at nsec at cw post I think the youngest was 5. But I would say it's more dependent on the kid and his/her ability to focus and follow directions as well as whether or not (or to what degree) they are afraid.
