Question for occasional waxers

Sorry if TMI but for those of you who mostly shave but occasionally wax, how long do you go without shaving before a bikini wax for best results?

Re: Question for occasional waxers

That is one of the things that stops me.
I can't imagine letting it grow for that long.
I'd go nuts

3 weeks should be good. If it is too long I feel it hurts more.

As far as letting it grow in. Your hair grows in cycles so it is never as full after you get wax a few times like it is the first time it grows in. The hair also is a lot finer and hurts less each time you get waxed.

That's good to know because after just a week of not shaving and grooming, it's like the wild kingdom for me!

Re: Question for occasional waxers

I just recently did my own full legs and bikini line (I'm not brave enough to do any more than that on my own). I let it go a little over 2 weeks and that was fine for me.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated and it is definitely growing in WAY less than had been there prior. I'm thinking about sticking with this as I really hate shaving and how quickly the hair comes back.
