Need full day pre k for September
Hi Ladies,
It has probably been years since I have posted!!! I am in search of full day pre-k for my little guy this September. He is already 4, but misses the kindergarten cut off by 6 days. He has never attended school, he currently goes to a sitter's house each day. This has worked for us, but he needs to get ready for school now. I am looking in the smithtown/hauppauge area. So far, I have looked at BEST learning center and Tutor time. I have an appt at Ivy League and plan to check out Sts. Philip and James. Can you make other suggestions or share experiences?

I was going to suggest Tutor Time but I see you've already looked there. My son went to TT in Oakdale and they did a wonderful job of preparing him for Kindergarten. He learned so much while having so much fun. I was very happy there!

We've been really happy with STEP preschool in Smithtown. I know they have a 9-3:30 program. They also have early drop off (not sure how early, though) and late pickup (4:30pm).

Need full day pre k for September
If you're looking at Ivy League, you should look at Harbor Country Day School in St. James. They have all day pre-k. There is an open house this Saturday, January 25. My DD went to pre-k there and we loved it so much we enrolled her for K. Feel free to FM me with questions.

I did a double take when I saw your name! LOL WElcome back! Hope everyone is doing well!!!!
Price wise Ivy is going to be more than the others you posted, by alot!
But other suggestions are
STEP (in the soccer academy on Jericho Tpk)
Holy Family Regional School (they dismiss at 2:15 though)
New Beginnings in Kings Park
Tree of Life on Kings Park Rd in Commack
My son was in a similar position he missed the cut off by 20 days but we knew he was ready for Kindergarten so we sent him to HOly Family but enrolled him in Kindergarten a year early. He is now in Smithtown Schools in 1st grade doing great!!
