Fenugreek- the good, the bad and the ugly
Has anyone had experience with it? Did it work? Bad side effects? I remember using it with my DD and it made me smell like maple syrup. But I can't recall how much it made my milk increase.
Please enlighten me!

i drank fenugreek tea shortly after dd was born and it did help increase my supply (more than other things i tried like more milk plus)
i had one cup of tea nightly and it worked in just a few days. i think you can drink it more frequently but i didnt want to get too engorged so i did it slowly
didnt notice any odd smells aside from the tea itself

I took it short term to correct a dip in supply when I caught a cold an Aunt Flo returned at the same time. It definitely helped and I stopped taking it after a week. Aside from the maple syrup smell, I don't remember any bad side effects...maybe slight stomach upset at first, but that's it.

I drank mothers milk tea and took the supplements. I smelled like maple syrup too...but that was about it. It helped my supply a ton and it was worth the smell. lol
