7 months and Solids

DS is almost 7 months old and he BF and we supplement due to low supply issues.

He eats 2 oz oatmeal and 1 Stage 2 fruit in the AM and 2 oz oatmeal and 1 stage 2 veg in the evening.

He nurses 4 times a day and gets 3 bottles of 3 ounces after he nurses (except for in AM).

Lately, he has not been taking all the bottles.

Do you think he is having too much solids?

There was a point when he wasn't gaining well (around 3 months), so I'm always nervous he isn't having enough BM/formula.

At 7 months old he's probably getting more interested in eating than in drinking. I'd bump him up to 3 meals a day. 4 BFing and 3 bottles sounds like plenty of milk/formula. He's probably just losing interest.

Other option is that he's getting enough from BFing and just doesn't need the supplement anymore, considering he's also eating 2 solid meals a day.

My almost 7 month old is eating 3 times a day. Your ds may drop a feeding.
Mine takes 4, 6 oz bottles a day

My baby is 7.5 months. He eats 2-3 meals a day. I found that he still wants milk regardless of how much he eats. The food is just not as satisfying. Maybe, it is the fat and protein. I worry like you bc my son is thin. I have tried feeding him extra banana bc he loves them. I figure it is high in cals, so that is good.

It's natural to eliminate a bottle and drop some liquids. They do it naturally! See which one fits your lifestyle and follow his lead. For us, it was the nighttime feeding that went byebye

My daughter is almost 8 months and on 3 meals a day. I nurse her in the am then she gets baby food if she nap after nursing so just about every other feeding is food or bm.
