Julian Kenneth - Newborn Shoot & Experience! (Sandra from September Blue)
Hi everyone - just dropping in so I can share my newborn photography experience and pictures!
When I was pregnant with Julian I found that ladies who came back and posted their pictures and experiences were a HUGE help to me when I had to book a photog. I hope this post helps all of the future mommy's on here too!!
We went with Sandra from September Blue - I loved her work and other girls on here said she was wonderful. They were so right - she is EXTREMELY patient... to the point where I just shook my head thinking, if I were this lady I would lose my shit trying to do this! Dealing with a fussy newborn, then trying to pose him JUST right for like ten minutes only to have him move the SECOND she goes to take the picture... and she just calmly starts again. Oh man, NOT the career for me!  and then, just when he was settling down - he spits up! THEN, he peed on her display and decorative blanket I wanted to DIE.
She was just the nicest, calmest person. Her work is true art, it's just beautiful. I'm also very happy with our prints, the package we bought, and the announcements we have to mail to family/friends are SO nice and very quality. So, overall, I really can't recommend Sandra enough. We went to her home studio - I wasn't sure how that would work out but it was fantastic. I'm so glad we did it that way. Her turnaround time was excellent too. After the horrendous experience I had in the past with another photographer (for my wedding) it was HEAVEN to have a true professional who kept her word and delivered in such a timely fashion. Thank GOD, it was lovely to actually GET what you PAID for! YAY!

She did a great job with your DS! We used her too! I'll have to post a review, she was fantastic to work with and her work was amazing.

These are fantastic! Don't feel too bad. DD pooped on my dress AND the photographer's blanket! Coincidentally, I also had an awful experience with my wedding photographer.
