Suggestions for restaurant in Huntington?
So I know there are lots of newer restaurants in Huntington - and would like to try one out tomorrow night on a date night with DH. Something a little romantic would be lovely...
We live nearby but always go to the same places.....so I've already ruled out Prime, Besito, Kashi, Honu, Mill Pond and Tutto Pazzo.
Any other rave reviews or suggestions?

Suggestions for restaurant in Huntington?
I've read really great reviews about Swallow and Ichiz. DH and I have it on our lists to try but haven't actually gotten around to them yet.

Dh and I went to Black and Blue for Valentines day last year. The food was excellent. Try to call and get a reservation for a booth otherwise the tables are pretty close together.

Swallow has amazing food. Best in town IMO. Very small tho so call early to get reservation.

Vitae! We are actually going there tonight. The food is fab and reasonably priced. they have an outdoor dining area and i think it's pretty romantic.

Suggestions for restaurant in Huntington?
swallow is great - hard to get table though
we had a really nice dinner at XO last Saturday and if you get a later reservation on Saturday - sit upstairs and they usually have live music
Doppio is also good Italian food
spasuckers is good but I don't think they take reservations
black and blue - ask for table outside this time of year
cassis is also a favorite of mine
buoy one was ok - nothing that really stood out

FYI Porto Vivo is closed Saturday night for a private party. I called the other day to try and make a reservation!

Love Jellyfish - its outside of the Village, is actually in Centerport, but everything about that place is amazing -atmosphere, decor and food

Thanks everyone! Made reservations at Jonathan's....so looking forward to it.
(Porto Vivo was my first choice, but as another poster mentioned, is closed today due to a private party.  Swallow looked awesome - but not sure DH and I will be able to stay anywhere close to our diets if we go there!  Small plates = lots of "let's just have a bite"! Also, fate played a role as I was determined to make the reservation yesterday while I was at work, and Swallow wasn't opened at the time! I took that as a sign that we shouldn't go there till I at least reach my goal weight in about 10 lbs from now!)
