We are planning a trip to Dutch wonderland. Can anyone recommend a hotel other than Eden Resort?

We are looking for something a little cheaper with an outdoor pool.

Re: Dutch Wonderland

Continental inn is right next door and cheaper. It also has an outdoor playground. It is motel like but does the job!

We are starting at the country inn and suites across the street. I can let you know how it is next week! It has good reviews and a high rating on trip advisor.

Re: Dutch Wonderland

I just stayed at the lancaster host hotel and conference center, last week. It is right across the street from dutch wonderland and has a great indoor and outdoor pool. They also have a play area like the ones at the malls and an arcade for the kids. It was only $129 a night.

How are the rooms there? I saw a Groupon type deal for this place recently for dirt cheap, but wasn't sure if it was nice.

we recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn which is right down the road from DW. We only stayed 1 night. We got it for $65 from expedia or one of those sites. It was fine. They did have an outside pool but we didn't have time to use it.

Amishview Inn is about 10 minutes away, but it has such a country vibe, you look at at farmland rather than that main highway.

Included breakfast is just delicious with both hot and cold options, plus an omelet station. Beautiful large rooms, playground on premise, movies shown on Fri and Sat. nights. We just love it!

We always stay in the Homewood Suites, love having the kitchen with full fridge and dishwasher for kids' stuff.

Re: Dutch Wonderland

The rooms were a little dated but clean and comfy. Our bathroom sink could have used replacing but that type of stuff is not that important to me so it was good. The pools were awesome, they had a kiddie pool inside the large pool so you could stand in the 3 feet water and be within arms distance of smaller kids in the kiddie pool. I have never seen anything like it before and it was great since I have 4 kids different ages.
