Chevy Tahoe

Does anyone have one? I'm looking into this with the Captain Seats. With the 3 kids and me really wanting one I'm leaning toward this.

How is it on gas? I know not great but would it be a deal breaker.

How is the storage in the back (say with a carriage) when the 3rd row is up.

My BIL has one. The gas is pretty bad. They only drive it when they really need the room.

I have one, and LOVE it. We have the captains chairs. I don't find it to be terrible on gas, actually it is a little better than my Jeep was. Usually about 16mpg, it also takes E85. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. I've always driven SUV's though so I am def used to not getting the best gas millage. It is roomy, and comfortable and works great for my family of 2 dd's and 2 100 pound dogs. When the 3rd row is up- there is limited storage however we usually will leave one of the chairs in the 3rd row in and one out- and then there is plenty amount of storage. With the full 3rd row in I am able to put my city mini double in the back no problems.

I have one and looking to trade it in for the honda pilot. I love the Tahoe, but with the captain seats it's not great for our growing family since we will have 3 kids under the age of 3. It would be hard to buckle a kid in the back and squeeze my way to the front. Then of course with the 3rd row seats you barely have storage room. Not enough to fit a stroller in the back.
Love the Tahoe, but i personally want a bench seat to fit all 3 of my kids in the 2nd row with the option of keeping the 3rd row up or down at any given time. HTH.
