Stupid Bra Question
Ok, so when you measure for bras they always say if the measurement with the boobs is X" bigger than the band measurement that equals the cup size (like 4" is a B or something like that...) So why when I bought a larger band size in the same cup size are the cups too big?  Shouldn't the cup be the same size? I usually get bras in a store but ordered a few on-line and the band was tight but the cup fit nice but now the band is good and the cup is baggy. Anyone have this issue? Do bra extenders work if I just use the ones with the smaller band size?

Generally if you go up a band size, you go down a cup size. I measure a 32D but it can be hard to find so sometimes I get a 34C. It fits but not the same. My days of a 34D are long gone, lol

Huh. So the whole X" bigger = cup size thing isn't really accurate then. Plus going down a whole cup size seems like the cup would be too small now, the cup isn't that big, just baggy. I HATE bra shopping and HATE it even more when the ones I finally find that I like get discontinued. And yeah, my full D cup days are gone too...didn't realize post-pregnancy how blah my boobs would be. (insert deflated balloon icon)

I saw a great pinterest pin about bra fitting and I remeasured myself and low and behold I had it all wrong. New size fits so much better.
