VBAC Doctor in Nassau
I'm looking for a new OBGYN who supports VBAC's. Apparantly my doctor does not and I did not have a good experience wiht her delivering my DD anway, so I knew I would look for another doctor. In the Nassau area and preferably delivers at Winthrop or North Shore Manhasset. Thanks.

Dr. Chen at Prohealth in New Hyde Park. Delivers out of Northshore Manhassett. LOVE her!!!

I use Seth Plancher, md in garden city. he delivers out of winthrop and i'm planning my vbac with him. he did my c/s

Ita with this. Statically you have a better chance of a vbac if you use a midwife, but Dr Plancher is an excellent OB.

I had a successful VBAC in July 2011 - the doctors were very supportive.
These are my doctors:
Complete Women's Healthcare
Dr. Dilena (very sweet, soft spoken and explains everything)
Dr. Nadell (nice, funny, very easy to talk to, answers all questions with patience)
Dr. LoPresti (very nice, more on the serious side, takes the time to answer all questions)

Garden City
Dr. Jeffrey Miller (he is new to the practice, my sister loves him and followed him to this practice)

I see Drs. Blinderman and King in RVC. They are supportive of a VBAC. I was there today and specifically discussed this. Saw them with my DS and was happy with my care.

LOVE Dr. Plancher! I did not have a VBAC but from early on when I was pregnant I discussed with him my desire for a drug free birth. He was so supportive throughout my pregnancy and even during labor when I had my "insanity" moment. He calmed me down and helped me stick to my plan. I would def. recommend him.
