What did you guys do??? I need help thinking of project

I did a home project with DS where we made a "gumball" machine. We got the glitter sticker foam paper and cut out the bottom part and top part of a gumball machine. Then we used pom pom balls in a variety of colors as the gum balls. He glued the entire thing together. So the background was silver, the machine parts were red and the pom poms were a variety of colors.


He also had to bring 100 of something to school so we counted out 100 pennies and sent that into school too.

We did 100 lifesavers and grouped them. 10 of each color, then patterns. It was a good lesson in numbers and grouping. The only thing I can say is use the minimal amount of glue. Where we put too much glue, it started eating/melting the candy.

We are going to use DumDum lollipops bec I have so many left over from a party!

We were thinking in the shape of one big lollipop or inside a gum all machine!

We spelled dd"/s name out in pennies and then blew up a pic of a piggy bank and glued all of that in to poster board. Whatever pennies we had leftover we glued inside the picture of the piggy bank. Just did it today - came out pretty cute!
