Wording for Christmas card
I posted this on families helping families too. Didn't know which would be better to post to....
I am newly remarried and both of us have children. What is the proper way of listing the children's names on the card? I put my two children first and his two after mine and he asked why I chose that order. Bottom line is- if he were single he wouldn't even be sending cards

I don't think your way is wrong - and totally get that no cards would even be sent if he was single. But I would list them from oldest to youngest. I do not have any children of my own, but I always list my 2 SS's in age order. Also, when writing out cards to families with kids, I always put "Dear parent's names, oldest kid, next oldest, etc." A friend of mine has 2 older step kids and 3 of her own with her husband - their cards always list the oldest 2 first and then continue in age order with their own kids.
