I took the first step toward a major life change!
I have decided to go to school to become an RN!!
I just registered for my first prerequisite. I will take as many classes as possible to get through them and then apply to the nursing program at my local community college.
It'll take at least 3 years of hard work but I am so so determined to do this. The local school has a great nursing reputation and will place their grads in local RN jobs after graduation.
I can still be home with my kids but have the flexibility of working PT nights/weekends if i want.
Please wish me luck. I'm a wreck! Studying for a math placement test and this scares me more than anything, lol!

Good luck! I have been doing the prereqs for nursing as well, this is my last semester! Just remember to study for anatomy and physiology every day, that is NOT a subject you can cram for.

Oh i definitely well..my plan is to study as much as humanly possible for these courses, i am so excited!!
I just passed my math placement with flying colors last night, so happy about that!
