How long has your Keurig lasted?
Ours is 3.5 years old and I think it's time for a new one. It's always yelling at us to "Descale" and we've cleaned it out several times with white vinegar, etc. and it's certainly not operating optimally.

ours needed to be "primed" within a couple of months of purchase. did not work at all. we called them up, and they sent over an entire new one within days.

We've had ours for 2 years and haven't had any problems with it. I clean it with a cleaner that I got from Bed Bath and Beyond every 3 months.

This. Their customer service is amazing. I had mine for a couple of years and they replaced it, no charge, and I received it in a day. They just have you mail back a piece of the old machine so it can't be used.

I saw a story on CNBC on the Green Mountain guy (who bought out Keurig). They don't make a cent on their machines, but make a killing on the pods, so I can see why they send replacements! So you keep buying pods

How long has your Keurig lasted?
I got mine from BB&B when I register, no matter how old it is they will take it back. I exchanged mine and paid a little more for an upgrade.

Have been operating mine for 3 yrs now and it's still going strong. It got clogged once but I was able to google fix the problem. Mine never said descale.

I started using my first one in April 2010. We are now on our 3rd Keurig. Customer service is good- they will replace it if it gives you problems. But the machines are pieces of sh!t..they are so freakin fragile and constantly act up. The one I have now (#3) keeps telling me to prime it. I went online and followed the instructions but it keeps saying "prime." Maybe the 4th one is the charm?

Same here. however sometimes it dosnt dispense the coffe and you have to sorta tap/hit the side of it for the coffe to dispense. lol
I've never descale it.. How do i do that??

I've had mine about 4 years now and it's acting up..very slow, not hot, loud!
I called and they said to clean it with white vinegar, which I did. It didn't make a difference. I called back and they said they best they could do for me was offer me a discount on a new machine. I said "why would I want to pay for a new one, when I paid for this one and it's already broken?"
Everyone tells me they call and get a replacement, how come I can't?

Our Keurig is 2.5 years old... and it's LOUD. We descale it, and clean it with white vinegar, but it still makes a horrible grinding noise.
I figured they would last much longer... I will definitely call to see if I can get a replacement.

I am so surprised so many people are having problems! This Christmas will be 6 years since I got mine and it is still going strong - I have never had to descale, never ran vinegar through it  and it gets used multiple times a day!

mine just crapped out last night! this is our 3rd machine in 3 years. we got it from costco and when i called customer service the first time the woman told me a defective lot was shipped to costco and they will replace it no problem.
thankfully i kept the box, not sure if you need to though.
definitely try to exchange it!

Yup as long as Bed Bath & Beyond sells it, they will take it back and give you a new one no charge!! My boss just did this a few weeks ago.

5 years and going strong!! Never had any problems with. It may be a louder than when we first got it but it works great and I have not had any problems! :)

Yes, ours was about 2 yo and couldn't be descaled so they sent a brand new one. I think the warranty is only 1 yr. Im convinced they do this because they make more $ on you buying the kcups.

I was having problems that started and I saw this thread. I called Keurig, but they didn't offer me a replacement...they did, however, offer me a reduced rate of $69.99. What did I do wrong? My machine is only 2 years old and I went through all of their required trouble-shooting.

Mine is 1 year old, no issues, knock on wood. I have not descaled it yet, but that's on my list. I mainly use filtered water in it, so i think that helps
