Brooklyn Baby Shower?
Hello lovers,
I haven't been around much since the LIW boards (married 10/28/11.)
We now live in Sunny Ft. Lauderdale and are 5 months pregnant with our first baby- A Boy!
My mom has been going crazy trying to find a reasonably priced place to host a baby shower for me in Brooklyn. Preferably Italian food.
She's been looking in Sheepshead Bay, Bay Ridge, Park Slope, Coney Island, Mil Basin...etc..
I feel bad that I can't help her but I'm so far away!
Any ideas of a yummy but not TOO TOO crazily priced place for a baby shower?
Il Fortel in SB wants 60 pp- I think that's INSANE and FORBID her from doing that!
Help!!!

how about pizza d'amore I have done alot of parties there and it is great!! What the KOC on nostrand and quentin.. Or pinocchios on avenue n they are a nice back party room. There is a place called noras on quentin road that I believe holds private parties tho ever been there but I know alot of ppl that have...

Brooklyn Baby Shower?
Is Scottadito still there on Union St in Park Slope? I had my bridal shower there in the back room (you can reserve the whole back room if you need it -- I just had a big table since we were less than 15 people but I think that room could even hold 40-50) and they just charged me the regular brunch menu price which was really inexpensive! i had naswereed this on LIW for you, but how about Gino's on 4th Avenue?
Il Fornetto in Sheepshead Bay? Michael's in Marine Park. There is also Gargiulio's which is really nice, but i think it might be more pricey, but you would have to check. Buckley's is nice as well. the name sounds terrible but its nicer inside. This one is in Marine Park, I believe as well.

Gino's in Bay Ridge is great..
I just went to a party at Cebu and the food was really good.
There are two places on Ft. Hamilton Parkway around 65th street with private rooms - I had my bridal shower at one and I attended a baby shower at the other earlier this year, but I can't remember either name!  Both are Italian and the service is great. They're only a few blocks apart so I think they keep each other on their toes.

Cebu and Greenhouse Cafe are really nice but if you want Italian I would totally pick Gino's! Their food is fantastic and they have a cute private room.

Here are some of my fave when it comes to Brooklyn's restaurants:
Michael's has great food
Il Fornetto has a nice view and the food is good
Gargulio's is also a good option
